Well, now in Bangkok after waiting at Chiang Mai station for an extra 6 hours after our train was horrendously delayed. Instead o f getting in at 6.40am we arrived about 1.30pm, which has put an end to the plans we had to visit either the orphange "on spec" or travelling to the River Kwai (4 plus hours round trip).

We feel a bit at a loose end and seem to be spending too much on food as a result (having spent 2 quid each on our room our economy drive seems to have since taken a nose dive!).

We get the overnight bus tomorrow evening to Koh Tao, and are really looking forward to some time on the beach, some snorkelling and some diving..... bring it on! Sun, sea, sand and sleep...... lovelly!!! :-)

Bye for now, hope you're enjoying the snow, tee hee..... P & L xx

Hi girls,
Praying for you. Sounds like you've had some great adventures already! The snow was great fun in some repsects - especially for kids of course as all schools in Birmingham were closed on Thursday and Friday. We got to leave early both days - on Friday Birmingham was gridlocked though so took me a good hour to get home and cars were sliding everywhere. Lots of media comment as you cna imagine. Next weekend I'm goin up to Ellel Grange in Lancaster with Dawn - really looking forward to it. Home group are going ot have pancakes chez moi the week after. Lent!!! We have decided to commit ourselves to 15 minutes quiet time a day. All the snow has melted now and everything is looking green and fresh - great to have a bit of a breather at half term. Lots of love to you both.
